My name is Michaela Williams, and I am the founder of Body Love & Beyond. I create content to motivate, challenge, and inspire others to become the most fulfilled versions of themselves. My passion for inclusive media representation and self-awareness began about 5 years ago when I developed a horrendous eating disorder. I found myself utterly spiraling out of control everyday. Enough was enough, and I landed in residential treatment. It was there that I discovered I had been lied to and manipulated all my life. Who told me I wasn't good enough? Who made the rules? I needed to unlearn a whole narrative of self hate and body dissatisfaction. I became angry. I became sad. I became determined.
I became the change I wish to see.
I've created a platform where we can share our experiences, look at the roots of low self esteem, empower each other, demand fair media representation, and spark lasting cultural change. Together, we will make room for everyone and anyone to feel comfortable in their own skin. We are capable of incredible personal growth. One thought, word, and action at a time.

Are you searching for a more personalized, specific, approachable, path to a healthy body image? Then look no further. In 2024, I will be publishing my first book, The Ten Commandments of a Healthy Body Image. In this short handbook, I will give you accessible, simplistic tools to begin rewiring your thoughts and habits to reflect a more self compassionate narrative. A fusion of psychology, research, humor, and autobiography, my book will be your very own manual to the self esteem you've always wanted. Join our mailing list for publication news and updates!
